Velocity B was born in 2018, and was formerly called Rockstar CMO Advisory and Appropringo London Ltd, by Ian Truscott, offering what today the cool kids are calling “fractional” marketing leadership, based on a mantra of creating ART (Awareness, Revenue and Trust).

Recognizing a need within clients for a high-performing revenue department across sales and marketing, experienced commercial leader Alex Simonson joined the firm as a Managing Partner, and we evolved from being marketing rockstars to creating revenue velocity.

At Velocity B, he helps clients navigate complex markets with commercial clarity, blending strategic insight, sales leadership, and deep expertise founded in customer engagement and data science.

Ian Truscott

Managing Partner

With a background in tech and product development, Ian is an experienced marketing leader, CMO, writer, and trusted advisor.

Ian now applies this experience and a passion for marketing to help businesses and marketing leaders create ART (Awareness, Revenue, and Trust), through a series of proven methodologies and strategies, his blog and podcast.

Jeff Clark
